Nagasaki prefecture is located on the island of Kyūshū, with the division of 21 municipalities including 13 cities, and 8 towns. Nagasaki is the capital and largest city of Nagasaki prefecture with a population of 407 thousand in 2021. The neighboring prefecture is Saga Prefecture to the northeast.
- The 13 cities are Goto City, Hirado City, Iki City, Isahaya City, Matsuura City, Minamishimabara City, Nagasaki City, Omura City, Saikai City, Sasebo City, Shimabara City, Tsushima City, and Unzen City.
